HOW IT WORKS
There are preliminaries on Saturday and Sunday at 9:30am. Everyone will play 3 games. This takes about 5 to 6 hours. Each day, the players are ranked. Rankings are decided first by wins, then by total score, and then by percentage of score at your table. The top 16 players overall combined from both preliminary sessions make up the Semi Finals on Sunday at 5pm. The 16 players play one game (4 players at 4 tables.). The winners of each table immediately compete in one game to determine the NYC Champion. That winner earns a spot in the 2024 US Catan National Championships (date and location TBD). The winner of that will compete in the World Championships in 2024 (date and location TBD). Must be U.S. Citizen and at least 18 years of age to participate. Questions?
